I am excited to announce that I was presented with an opportunity to contribute to a collection of wonderful cozy mysteries with nine other authors.
The theme of the anthology: Flamingos.
A Flock of an Alibi was the brainchild of Aconite Cafe Press, and it turned out to be a super fun experience for me.
My story is the fourth story in the collection, titled The Only Witness. The story is about a widow who visits a local zoo and makes an immediate, yet strange, connection with a flamingo there. She is able to take the beautiful bird home, much to her cranky neighbor’s dismay, and develops a close friendship with Fiona the Flamingo.
Unfortunately, Margaret meets a deadly fate, and Fiona is the only witness to her murder.
And since A Flock of an Alibi was so much fun, I was also excited to contribute to another collection of cozy mysteries.
The theme of this anthology: Festivals.
My story is the second story in A Festival of Forensics, and it is titled Sugar and Spice Sabotage. My story is about a new empty-nester, Eliza Martin, who opens the Me Oh My Pie Shop in her small town and summons the courage to enter her most popular pie in the baking competition in the Stillson County Fair.
Suddenly everything starts to go wrong, and Eliza wonders if it’s just a mixture of coincidence and bad luck, or if someone is trying to sabotage her chances of winning the contest.
